The National Weather Service just issued a red-flag for tomorrow. While the winds will gust up to 20 mph from the North they will peak mid-day so there will be lots of observers out and about. In addition, things still look pretty green in the Canyon. That said, this is a wake up call - we need to start gearing up for the coming season. Expect to hear more from me in the next few weeks.
How can I differentiate between lights and fire?
ReplyDeleteHow do I spot a fire, as opposed to another type of light? Looking at the camera for Wildcat Canyon, I see lights at different levels. Some appear to be city lights beyond the hills. Others appear more in the foreground.
